We’ve had kats most of our lives.

When our boyo Shaolin passed away, his absence left a huge hole in our hearts, but the presence of Bai-li really helped us get through.

When our girl Bai-li passed away, the hole was too great, and the house was too quiet.

Then, Nome made the mistake of wandering to the Greater Victoria Animal Crusaders website, finding the listing for Dasher + Dancer, brothers rescued from a hoarder house, bonded like nobody’s business, and meant to be adopted together.

I suppose you can guess what happened next . . .

Moments after being released from their kennels following the trip home, Dancer (the scaredycat) squished himself underneath the couch, which is no mean feat, considering it has less than 3″ of clearance.

Note to self: vacuum.

Dasher: noble boy, and not quite as scaredeycat as Dancer.
