I was privileged to be asked to shoot anniversary photos for fellow YYJ Rocktographer, John Carlow.
Canon EOS 550D (T2i) · Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8
200 mm · 1/250 s · f/6.3 · ISO 100
Strobist: Canon 430EX II, 1/2 power, 6′ left/front of subjects, remote triggered
He and his wife Louise hired me to shoot portraits for their 32nd anniversary, where both the sun and moon showed off for us.
Canon EOS 550D (T2i) · Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8
115 mm · 1/1600 s · f/4 · ISO 800
John’s a magician at club shooting (where bad to nonexistent lighting and alcohol-fueled crowds can wreak havoc on one’s photos and equipment) and one of the nicest human beings ever hatched. They were both hilarious to follow around Beacon Hill Park.
Canon EOS 70D · Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM
20 mm · 1/125 s · f/9.5 · ISO 800
Strobist: Canon 430EX II, 1/2 power, 8′ right/front of subjects, remote triggered
Happy anniversary, you crazy kids!
=)
