See that handsome gentleman up front? That’s Finn. He’s 7 months old. See that pretty little lass behind him? That’s his big sister, Abi. She’s 3⅓ years old. I’ll give you a sec to work out those ages and the size ratio in your head.

This weekend, I had a visit with my Uncle Paul and Auntie Sherry, and their daughter (my cousin), Nat, happened to be visiting with her two itty-bitties. Nat lives on the mainland (hubby couldn’t make the trip) so, while I’d met Abi once before, it was the first time I’d had the pleasure of Finn’s acquaintance.

Abi has grown into a talkative little bundle, with questions about everything in her world, and a language all her own recently accented with the sudden disappearance of a front tooth.

It’s so great to see my li’l cuz, Nit Nat (as our Grandma used to call her) with her babies.

In the very room where we got together, I’d taken a photo of Nat while in my single semester of photography during my two-year media generalist program at Camosun College.
So, y’know, get up off my back about the technical qualities of this photo. It was 1992, I’d just begun learning the ins and outs of my first SLR (the Canon AT-1), and I developed this film myself, so *thbbbt!*
Hope to see you and your mini-fam again soon, Nit Nat!
=)
