Now here’s some love. Gina and Jed share some downtime during their formals.

It’s always enjoyable to do ring shots. I greatly enjoy playing around with different lighting, backgrounds, and shooting styles. When the rings are extra purdy, like these, all the better.

Know what that CD stands for? Christian Dior.

These were some ni-i-ice shoes. They got a photo shoot all their own.

Gina and her dad make their way to the ceremony, which was held at the beautiful English Inn.

As they were walking down the driveway to the ceremony site, I was in front of them, walking backwards, shooting away.

Gina’s dad turns to her and says, “I feel like we’ve got the paparazzi here.”

This.

This was the moment where all the tension broke. Look closely at the darker parts of the photo to see it.

For the whole morning, everyone was fearing for the worst with regards to the weather, owing to the uncharacteristically week leading up.

The moment the ceremony began, *plip!* *plip!* *plip!*

But, when it happened, it was funny. This exact moment set the tone for the rest of the day, and it was fantastic.

Even better was that the rain let up as soon as the ceremony ended.

Gina’s fan club.

The cutest little trio of girls on bikes was heading out of Macaulay Point Park as we were headed in for some formals, and they immediately spun around and dropped their bikes to watch.

Then, they followed us to every other spot we took photos.

The funniest part? The ringleader’s repeated shouts of “You look sexy!” to the bride while we shot.

It finally happened! Wind + veil!

It’s one of those things a wedding photographer hopes for ’cause renting a wind machine is such a hassle. Plus, where do you even find an power outlet on the beach?

Gina’s . . . other . . . red shoes.

When she first told me she had a pair of Hunters for unfriendly terrain, I thought they were running shoes or something.

Nope. They were far more awesome.

happysquishyface.

This was one of my favourite captures of the day. One which so clearly shows Gina’s love for Jed, and her happiness at their hitched-ness.

At that moment, nobody else mattered.
