Keep scrolling for more photos featuring whaling walls, dueling wedding parties, men making out and dingley dells. None of that is a typo.

So cute. Some couples have objects and elements which are important to them, and I like to incorporate those into their ring shots. Jenna and Brady’s special objects? Game nights with Yahtzee and Scrabble.

Best. Garter. Ever.
Look closely.
Do you see it?

Now that’s a big wedding party.
Directing a group of people this large is a good amount of fun.
I feel a bit like a wizard. I yell, “Could everyone please take one step to the right?” and, as one, everybody looks down to see who they’ll be stepping on and cautiously shuffles over.
What you don’t see in this photo: the shirtless man on the park bench. Hey, it’s a public place. I get that. I’m probably saving him some embarrassment by removing him.

Yes, you read that right . . . Dingley Dell. Go ahead and die of awesome right now. I’ll wait.
I love shooting weddings. I love the anticipation, the emotion and, most of all, the laughs.
But, there are moments where I feel like I’m absolutely winning at life.
This was one of those moments. Dingley frickin’ Dell. Seriously, how do you top that?
When I got this shot, I knew that anything else I’d shoot that day would be gravy. Fantastically, this was just the first stop on our portrait crawl.

Breakwater, that’s a nice facelift you’ve got there.
I like to share the occasional photo with my couples right after they’re shot, and this one got the reaction, “It looks like two pictures stitched together!” which I’ll take as a compliment.
Thanks, new breakwater artwork!

Enough smiling. Just look awesome.
I like to get some non-smiley shots in my posed sessions ’cause, while the toothy grins have their place . . . well, just lookit those kids!

It’s all in the details.
The funny thing about this location (yes, besides the groomsmen) was that, as we were leaving, another wedding party arrived, and some of our party knew some of theirs.

So, of course, I had to get everyone together for one quick shot.
