Yet again, the city hosted the weird and wonderful zombie walk, where huge amounts of zombies walk, shuffle, limp and drag themselves through downtown streets, ending with a mass groaning at the Legislature.

I prefer to keep the photos on this gallery to a certain standard of . . . safety.
I’m not sure if that’s the exact word I’m going for, but I’m getting at the fact that the photos showcased here are among the more tame of what I captured that day.
I shot a full collection of sometimes gory, sometimes amusing, sometimes downright terrifying zombies this weekend, but have housed them elsewhere.
With that warning in mind, see the full set here.
And . . . “GRAAAAAH!”

This was the scene just before the, um . . . gaggle? Bevy? Horde? Anyways, just before the zombies left Spirit Square (the square formerly known as Centennial).
Many of the zombies were applying last-minute touch-ups, and that included excess blood to drop along the way.
I’d love to have hung around the square to get the reactions of any passers-by after all the zombies left.

The hilarious and harmless aftermath of a ridiculously unique tradition.
