Scott, James and Rick from Finger Eleven play a surprise acoustic show in Victoria.

Picture the set (as Dwight Myers said in 1989): buncha Zone listeners in a gym/studio, hanging out, munching pizza, drinkin’ pop, listening to tracks from an advance copy of the new Finger Eleven CD.
Then, the wall behind them opens up, and there’s Finger Eleven themselves, ready to play live. Haha!
This was the best kind of surprise. I was behind the partition with the band, and the looks on people’s faces as they figured it out was priceless.
And the band? Dang personable and professional. And solid acoustically, which not all rock bands are.
All in all, a great day.
