Another example of how concert photography can be a fickle thing.
Standard concert photographer situation: first three songs, shot from the pit, no flash.
Occasional concert photographer situations: first two songs / side stage only / shooting from the soundboard.
We got the soundboard treatment for the Mötley Crüe show. Despite that, I got this shot, which I was pretty happy with.
Of course, no solid shots of the band I’m proud enough to share, but whaddya do? I’m happy most days just to be there.
