I missed Vince Vaccaro‘s set. It’s actually the first time I’ve been to a festival with Vince in it and not had the chance to shoot his show.
It’s a real shame, ’cause it sounded amazing from backstage. But, backstage is where I was, taking photos of an AWOLNATION interview.
So, lucky me, I caught Vince immediately after his performance, and he gave me this post-performance salute.

I missed Reignwolf at Rifflandia last year, and EVERYONE I talked to was just going the frick off about his performance.
So, I knew I had to catch him at Rock the Shores, and holy crikey . . . he did NOT disappoint.
Jordan Cook (the slightly less menacing name of the performer Reignwolf) gives and gives and gives.
He’s intense, he’s raw, and he can play a guitar and a drumset simultaneously.
This was a rare moment of stillness from him (while no less intense than usual), and the eye contact and reflection of the sun off his guitar made this shot the winner for his set.
