Flowers left unattended during a workmate’s vacation. Canon EOS 1000D (XS) · Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II 50 mm · 1/50 s · f/2.2 · ISO 200 Sometimes, it’s better to leave a handwritten note than to write an e-mail. Handwritten notes get you walking around to other folks’ offices where photographic opportunities lie in wait. =)
dewfleur
Dew-covered flowers found outside Chez Mouse one Saturday morning. Canon EOS 400D (XTi) · Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 238 mm · 1/500 s · f/7.1 · ISO 400 =)
lifeless
Lifeless flowers decay on a tombstone. Canon EOS 400D (XTi) · Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 168 mm · 1/320 s · f/5.6 · ISO 100 Another from Ross Bay Cemetery. And the flowers, in case you were curious, have this interesting blend of colour and, er, wilt-less-ness, it’s because they were never alive to begin with. =)
East Sooke Crassula
A spiderweb-covered crassula, well hidden in the middle of the Hiking Hell which is East Sooke Park. At least, I hope it’s a crassula. I’m botanically inept. =)
Cairn lily
A lily — a columbian lily, if I’m not much mistaken — in Esquimalt’s Cairn Park. Such wonderful sights, all in and around this cool little city I’ve lived in all my life, which I’m only now seeing, thanks to the fun little hobby which is Geocaching — using million dollar satellites to find tupperware. =)
baby gerb
Gerbera by night. =)
daisy chain
“Sometimes, I wish we could start out old and grow younger.” A profound musing from the girl with daisies in her hair. Happy birthday, Kaitlyn. =)
