I second-shot the wedding of work brotha Pol and his lovely now-wife Elea, spending some of my shooting time on . . . a school bus.

Yup, the guests met downtown and were bussed to this little church in Central Saanich.

Ugh, what a horrid view out the back of the church, eh? Just yuck.

Inside was a bunch of my work family! There’s Tindy, groom Pol himself, Dylan, and Bossman Johnny entertaining Bryan and Elissa’s little Kian.
After the ceremony (no photos, please!), we all piled back onto the buses . . .

. . . made a quick stop for ice cream in the little shop which time forgot . . .

. . . and ended up at Elea’s parents’, where every guest received their own “Pol & Elea” sunglasses. Too cool.

Pol’s dog, Garçon Gary, who was part of the ceremony, was naturally at the reception, as well.
While we waited for the new bride and groom to return from their formal photos and SWIM IN A LAKE, a flutterby landed on Jade!

Elea + Pol’s arrival was a fun, musical moment, with Jackie Wilson’s (Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher and Higher blasting from the dancefloor.

The rest of the night was filled with fun, food, drink, and moments like these . . .
As well as much dancing before the dancefloor was officially open.
